Cameron has been Associate Director for Jonathan Church’s Singin’ In The Rain (Chichester Festival Theatre / Stage Entertainment) since 2012. He has worked on productions in the West End, UK Tour, Japan, South Africa, N.Z and Asia Most recently he was Co-Director of the Moscow production (in Russian) and remounted the current Australian tour in May 2016.
Cameron directed Crazy For You and Street Scene (ArtsEd, LONDON), Joe Starts Again – (New York, Sydney, Melbourne - for which he received a Green Room Award nomination for Best Director.); Australian National tours of Gary Ginivan’s productions of My Grandma Lives in Gooligulch, Pinocchio, The Magic Faraway Tree and Possum Magic. He also directed Iolanthe and Orpheus In The Underworld (Young Opera Workshop Lismore), Romance Romance, Lost In Yonkers, Play It Again Sam and The Juliet Letters. He co-created and directed Nichaud Fitzgibbon’s Peggy Lee Tribute (Melbourne International Festival) at The Famous Spiegeltent.
Associate Directing credits include I Can’t Sing – The X-Factor Musical (London Palladium) and Walking With Dinosaurs – The Arena Spectacular (Australia/New Zealand, North America, Europe and Asia) - directing it in 27 different languages and 32 Countries. He was Resident Director on the Villa Lobos operetta Magdalena and The Hobbit (New Zealand Tour) and he co-founded the writing platform ScreenPlay, showcasing the work of new screenwriters at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
